Job summary

Join our Field Service team in Norway as a Field Service Engineer, based in Oslo. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize sophisticated instrumentation used by customers, with travel across Norway and the Nordic region.

The role blends hands-on technical work with excellent service delivery and problem solving. Fluency in English and Norwegian is required, along with an engineering degree or proven field service experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or proven field service experience.
Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of advanced, complex systems.
Fluency in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues.
Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on COR instrumentation.
Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software issues using established procedures.
Determine the most efficient repair/solution to ensure minimum downtime.
Perform instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).
Actively manage spare parts stock and tools.
Escalate technical issues as needed and travel across Norway and the Nordic area.
