Job summary

Activate Games Oslo AS is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to help open Activate Bærum and build the team, culture and daily operations from day one. You will lead team leads and game hosts, ensure a top guest experience, manage scheduling and daily routines, and collaborate with the General Manager during the opening phase to maintain high standards.

The role offers onboarding in Helsinki and practical onboarding at Activate Snøbyen, with opportunities for growth as the network expands

• Comfortable leading people on the floor in a high-tempo setting.
• Structured, reliable and able to keep control when many things happen at once.
• Clear on standards and expectations while engaging with people.

Job description

Do you want to help open and lead the operations at a brand-new Activate Games location? We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can build the team, culture and daily operations at Activate Bærum from the start.

Activate Games is opening a new location in Bærum, and we are looking for a clear, practical and energetic Operations Manager to help build the team and daily operations from the start.

This is a key role in the opening of a new location. You will be responsible for daily operations, team follow-up, guest experience, quality and operational flow on the floor.

We are looking for someone who enjoys pace, people, structure and responsibility. You are visible, solution-oriented and able to help the team around you perform at a high level.

About the role

As Operations Manager at Activate Bærum, you will make sure the daily operation works in practice. You will lead team leads and game hosts, secure a strong guest experience and help ensure that the location opens with high standards from day one.

You will receive a comprehensive onboarding and training program before opening, including training in Helsinki and practical onboarding at Activate Snøbyen. During the opening phase, you will also get close follow-up and be involved in recruiting, training and developing the team that will open Activate Bærum.

• Fluent in English or Norwegian.
