Job summary

Activate Snøbyen, Norway's first Activate Games location, seeks a hands-on Operations Manager to own the team and daily operations. You will lead team leads and game hosts, ensuring guest experience, standards, safety and high-tempo operation.

The role includes onboarding, ongoing coaching, and close collaboration with leadership to grow an established operation in a busy entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience from service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, fitness or similar hands-on environment.
• Able to lead people on the floor in a high-tempo setting.
• Structured, reliable and able to keep control when many things happen at once.
• Fluent in English or Norwegian.

Do you want to lead the daily operations at Norway's first Activate Games location? We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can take ownership of the team, culture and daily operations at Activate Snøbyen.

Activate Snøbyen is Norway's first Activate Games location and has been running since February 2026. We are now looking for a clear, practical and energetic Operations Manager to take ownership of the team and daily operations going forward.

This is a key leadership role at an already established and running location. You will be responsible for daily operations, team follow-up, guest experience, quality and operational flow on the floor.

We are looking for someone who enjoys pace, people, structure and responsibility. You are visible, solution-oriented and able to help the team around you perform at a high level.

About the role

As Operations Manager at Activate Snøbyen, you will lead an established team and make sure daily operations work in practice. You will lead team leads and game hosts, secure a strong guest experience and continuously develop the location's standards and culture.

You will receive a comprehensive onboarding program and close follow-up during the transition period.

Key responsibilities

Lead daily operations and make sure the location runs smoothly on the floor.

Build, train and follow up team leads and game hosts.

Maintain high standards for guest experience, safety, cleanliness and service.

Own scheduling, staffing, opening, closing and daily routines.

Follow up birthdays, groups, B2B bookings and events.

Report on operations, staffing, KPIs, technical issues and improvement actions.

Must-haves

Leadership experience from service, hospitality, retail, restaurants, fitness, activity centers, entertainment or another hands-on operational environment.

Comfortable leading people on the floor in a high-tempo setting.

Structured, reliable and able to keep control when many things happen at once.

Clear on standards and expectations, while still being good with people.

Able to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Fluent in English or Norwegian.

Experience with scheduling and staffing.
