Job summary

APL Norway AS is seeking experienced Engineering Manager(s) to drive the technical execution of offshore projects. The Engineering Manager will own engineering scope, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and guarantee that all engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering project leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the engineering scope and schedule for assigned projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team to align activities with milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes.
• Represent engineering in client and partner meetings as needed.
• Report engineering performance metrics to senior management.
