Job summary

APL Norway AS is seeking experienced Engineering Manager(s) to drive the technical execution of offshore projects. Qualifications

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet APL's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Management Team to align engineering activities with overall project milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep engineering work on track.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across engineering processes.
• Represent the engineering function in client and partner meetings as needed.
• Report engineering performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in relevant Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering project leadership within the oil & gas or offshore industry.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with project management tools ("e.g., Primavera") and engineering software.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
• Safety‑focused mindset with a commitment to HSE best practices.
• Eligibility to work in Norway and willingness to travel to project sites.
