Job summary

SERO is seeking an Area Manager (Product Specialist) to drive sales, business development and customer support across the Nordic region. The role blends scientific expertise with commercial responsibilities and serves as the primary contact for laboratories and healthcare customers.

You will support existing customers, identify growth opportunities, drive tender activities, and contribute to SERO’s expansion in the Nordics. Frequent travel is required.

Qualifications

• Scientific or laboratory degree required.
• Experience in IVD/diagnostics or healthcare labs.
• Proven ability to work independently and in customer-facing roles.
• Fluency in a Scandinavian language; Swedish is an advantage.
• Knowledge of QC products and lab quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to drive sales.
• Lead tender opportunities and support contract implementation.
• Provide product guidance and onboarding for laboratories.
• Represent SERO at conferences and customer events.
• Maintain sales forecasts and CRM-based planning.
