Job summary

Baringa is seeking a Director to lead the Commodities & Energy Trading practice in Norway, driving growth, deepening client relationships, and delivering high-impact engagements. You will work with senior leaders across Europe to shape strategy, build capabilities, and expand the Nordic practice.

The role requires a strong consulting background, enterprise leadership, and credibility in the Nordic trading ecosystem, with a focus on transforming trading businesses and operating models.

Qualifications

• Proven business development capability with senior client relationships.
• Account leadership experience driving strategic growth.
• Executive stakeholder leadership advising on transformation programmes.
• Delivery excellence leading large-scale transformation projects.
• Market credibility within Norwegian and Nordic commodity/energy trading.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring and developing consulting talent.
