Job summary

NES Fircroft, Oslo-based, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee complex EPC, construction and subcontract agreements for data centre projects in the Nordics. The role protects contractual positions and drives cost recovery across project delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive client/developer and EPC contractor exposure, with strong negotiation, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills. Competitive salary with bonus prospects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing contracts in major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee commercial contracts across major data centre construction projects.
• Review, negotiate and administer EPC, construction and subcontract agreements.
• Protect the client's commercial and contractual position throughout project delivery.
• Identify contractual risks, commercial exposures and opportunities for cost recovery.
• Manage variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and contractual disputes.
• Lead the recovery of additional costs and monies owed where contractual obligations have not been met.
• Challenge contractor claims and ensure appropriate contractual substantiation.
• Work closely with project directors, commercial teams, procurement and legal departments.
• Ensure contractual compliance and effective management of project obligations.
• Support commercial negotiations and dispute resolution where required.
