Job summary

Flynn seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Nordics project team. You will bid, manage and deliver multiple projects safely, profitably, and to client expectations, developing relationships for repeat business.

The role requires 10+ years in construction with at least 5 years as a Project Manager, strong IT & BIM skills, and the ability to lead teams and manage commercial risk across design and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience with at least 5 years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, BIM, and planning tools.
• Ability to build and retain strong teams to drive projects to completion.
• Pro-active, self-starter who can handle ambiguity and complex stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with existing or new clients.

Responsibilities

• Implement a Health & Safety culture on all projects.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities and convert to viable projects.
• Manage the entire bid process from lead to site commencement with assistance from Commercial Manager.
• Lead project teams to meet milestones while preserving profit margins.
• Oversee commercial performance to meet margin objectives.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial risks with the commercial team.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership to drive innovation and improvements.
