Wärtsilä Norway is seeking a Newbuild Sales Manager to help customers fit vessels with Wärtsilä marine solutions. Preferred locations are Oslo, Ålesund, Bergen, Rubbestadneset or Stord, with the option of hybrid work.

You will join the six‑person Newbuilds team responsible for coordinating between vessel owners, designers, consultants and yards, providing technical and commercial leadership in the offering process.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine newbuild sales.
• Knowledge of maritime emissions regulations.
• Strong English and Norwegian communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships
• Identify and develop sales projects, support decarbonization with a consultative and collaborative approach
• Execute and manage complex end-to-end sales processes for assigned customers or markets, from prospecting to closing deals
• Utilise in-depth knowledge of marine solutions to bring value to the customer and Wärtsilä

Marine power & propulsion knowledge

Experience with shipbuilding processes
