Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Newbuild Sales Manager to help customers fit their vessels with Wärtsilä marine solutions. The preferred locations for this role are Oslo, Ålesund, Bergen, Rubbestadneset or Stord with the option of hybrid work.

You will maintain and develop customer relationships, identify sales projects, and drive end-to-end sales processes from prospecting to closing, leveraging marine solutions knowledge to create value for clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both in English and Norwegian.
• Experience from marine newbuild sales.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with shipyards, designers and owners.
• Willingness to travel domestically and support decarbonisation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Identify and develop sales projects and support decarbonisation with a consultative approach.
• Execute and manage end-to-end sales processes from prospecting to closing deals.
• Utilise in-depth knowledge of marine solutions to bring value to the customer and Wärtsilä.
