Job summary

Wärtsilä seeks a Sales Manager Newbuild to drive customer engagements for marine newbuild projects in Norway. The role focuses on securing complex end-to-end sales, coordinating with owners, designers, consultants and yards, and delivering value through Wärtsilä marine solutions.

The preferred locations include Oslo, Ålesund, Bergen, Rubbestadneset or Stord with hybrid work. Travel domestically is required to support decarbonisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience from marine newbuild sales.
• Knowledge about maritime regulations within emissions and safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both in English and Norwegian.
• Flexibility to travel, mainly domestic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Identify and develop sales projects and support decarbonization with a consultative approach.
• Execute end-to-end sales processes for assigned customers or markets, from prospecting to closing deals.
• Utilise in-depth knowledge of marine solutions to bring value to the customer and Wärtsilä.
