Senior Newbuild Sales Manager – Marine Decarbonization

Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Sales Manager Newbuild to drive value for customers in the marine sector. You will manage end-to-end sales processes, coordinate with vessel owners, designers and yards, and apply your knowledge of marine power and propulsion to support decarbonisation initiatives.

The preferred locations Oslo, Ålesund, Bergen, Rubbestadneset or Stord with a hybrid work setup. You will travel mainly domestically and collaborate with a six-person newbuilds team.

Qualifications

• Experience with marine newbuild sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations related to emissions and safety.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and develop sales projects and support decarbonisation with a consultative approach.
• Execute and manage complex end-to-end sales processes from prospecting to closing deals.
