Job summary

Ovation Search is seeking an experienced MEP Lead for a growing Nordic data centre group, based in Norway or Sweden. You will lead MEP strategy, coordinating mechanical and electrical delivery across major developments from preconstruction through handover.

You will work with founders and leadership to shape delivery capability, influence procurement, design reviews and commissioning, and help build a scalable MEP platform for hyperscale projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading MEP delivery within data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle from early stage to handover.
• Willingness to relocate to Norway or Sweden if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall MEP strategy and technical delivery across major data centre developments.
• Contribute to preconstruction, bids and tender activity with technical input.
• Support procurement strategy, tender evaluations and contractor selection.
• Lead and direct Mechanical and Electrical Project Managers and teams.
• Drive design development, constructability and value engineering.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and key technical partners.
• Ensure integration between MEP, CSA, controls and commissioning.
• Oversee MEP delivery through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Identify and manage risks across programme, technical and commercial aspects.
• Represent the senior MEP role with clients, partners and stakeholders.
