Senior MEP Project Lead, Hyperscale Data Centers (Norway)

Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee on-site delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for hyperscale data centre projects in Norway. You will manage technical and construction execution to meet quality, safety and performance standards.

You will lead multi-contract coordination, review designs, monitor commissioning and handover, and drive safety, sustainability and energy efficiency while coordinating with Civil, Structural, Architectural and Controls

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in MEP project delivery, including data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven track record delivering large MEP scopes from installation through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of power, cooling, HVAC, controls and fire protection systems.
• Contractor management, coordination, and performance monitoring on complex multi-package projects.
• Strong commissioning and operational readiness requirements.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator able to coordinate across disciplines.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian advantageous.
• Willingness to be site-based in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site MEP construction activities across multiple contractors.
• Provide technical oversight through design reviews, inspections, and commissioning documents.
• Manage day-to-day communications with contractors, consultants and suppliers; chair coordination meetings.
• Monitor progress, track milestones, and report cost, quality, and safety metrics.
• Embed safety, sustainability and energy efficiency best practices on projects.
