MiCiM, a specialist construction and project management business, seeks an experienced MEP Lead to drive on-site MEP delivery for Europe-wide data centre projects in Norway. You will coordinate diverse teams, review designs, manage risks and ensure safe, compliant handover of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

With a strong background in large-scale MEP; experience in data centres, hyperscale or mission-critical settings is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong background in large-scale MEP delivery with hands-on experience.
• Proven track record as MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres or mission-critical projects.
• Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems used in hyperscale data centres.

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of MEP packages.
• Review technical designs, method statements and submittals to ensure compliance with client specifications and data centre standards.

• Oversee installation quality and ensure robust testing, commissioning and handover processes.
• Act as the main MEP point of contact with the client, project management team and key stakeholders.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to MiCiM and local HSE requirements.

As we continue to expand in the Nordics, we’re looking for an experienced MEP Lead with a strong mechanical or electrical background to join our first‑class team in Norway.

This is a unique chance to work on some of Europe’s most innovative data centre projects, supporting the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical systems that underpin mission‑critical operations.

You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating MEP design, installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring quality, safety and performance standards are achieved throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP activities on‑site.

• About You
• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with hands‑on experience in large‑scale MEP delivery.
• Proven track record as an MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres, high‑tech, pharmaceutical or other mission‑critical projects.
• Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems typical of hyperscale or colocation data centres.
• Able to manage complex interfaces between trades and drive performance in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communicator with the confidence to lead meetings, engage stakeholders and represent MiCiM professionally.
• Willingness to work on‑site in the Nordics; previous international project experience is an advantage.
