Job summary

Dynea AS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (BSc/MSc) to design mechanical equipment, layout, and piping. You will participate in plant commissioning and manage projects in an international environment.

The role requires a BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, CAD/AutoCAD proficiency, and strong Norwegian and English communication. Willingness to travel and reside near EU/Schengen/UK is expected.

We think you should have:

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineer
• Interest in process technology and industrial plant design
• Relevant experience from the chemical, process, energy, or oil & gas industry is an advantage
• Ability to work structured and in team and preferably project management experience
• CAD design and some AutoCAD application knowhow
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• The ability to be a trusted technical advisor and partner for customers and colleagues. Willing to share knowledge, experience and support each other to achieve team goal
• Willingness to travel
• Reside within the European Union (EU), Schengen Area, or the United Kingdom (UK)

Technology Centre is a competence centre in Dynea AS for Licensing & Projects and Process Technology:

• Licensing of the Dynea Formaldehyde Silver Catalyst Process, fasil
• Sales of process technology
• Project Management
• Process & Mechanical Design in projects
• Plant Operations

The position offers close collaboration with customers, production sites, and suppliers worldwide. Travel and flexibility to stay abroad for periods will be required. The position involves working in a strong technical environment with a variety of tasks.
