Job summary

Circle Consult in Oslo is seeking skilled mechanical engineers to join our team of over 30 engineers. You will work on innovative projects, applying your technical skills to mechanical solutions in various sectors including defense, energy, and transport.

Responsibilities include design and construction of mechanical solutions, performing FE simulations, and preparing technical documentation. We offer personal and professional development opportunities within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
• Experience in designing for production methods such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, milling, and 3D printing.
• Knowledge of offshore installations is beneficial.

We are looking for skilled mechanical engineers to strengthen our team of 30+ engineers.

We are a development and consultancy company delivering high-quality technical solutions to some of Denmark’s largest companies – within sectors such as defense, energy, transport, and industry.

As part of Circle Consult, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical skills to a range of exciting and challenging tasks – either from our offices or directly at our customers’ sites.

Your primary tasks

• Design and construction of mechanical solutions, including offshore installations and specialized equipment
• Apparatus construction
• Carry out FE simulations and prepare reports to verify constructions
• Follow projects from concept and development through to production and testing – in close dialogue with the customer
• Prepare technical documentation and drawings
• Handle assignments for customers – both from the office and on-site
• Be among the best in your field and take ownership of your tasks
• Take responsibility for updating products, documentation, and designs
• Understand corrosion in various environments
• Have experience in designing for production methods such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, milling, and 3D printing
• Be ready to take on consultancy tasks both internally and externally

Advantages (not required)

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Design experience with plastics, steel, and aluminum
• Knowledge of offshore installations
• Experience with designing for small production runs
• Familiarity with Eurocode
