Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Process Engineer to deliver high‑quality process drawings and ensure schedule adherence within oil & gas projects. You will collaborate closely with Process and Design teams to maintain quality, schedules and budgets while supporting digital engineering workflows and compliance with project requirements.

The role requires experience with P&ID tools, AVEVA diagrams, and data management practices, and a background in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience with P&ID tools (AVEVA Diagram, SP P&ID, AutoCAD) for PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs.
  • Proficiency in AVEVA Diagram and BricsCAD.
  • Understanding of engineering data management principles and revision control processes.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and coordinate with system admins.
  • Familiarity with templates, title blocks, standards, and document management workflows.
  • Understanding data integration between AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Engineering, and AVEVA E3D.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and drafting practices.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Process Designer in oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects.
  • Experience in preparation and maintenance of process drawings and databases.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical trade certification or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.

Job Description:
  • Deliver process drawings with a high level of quality and within agreed schedules.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between the Process and Design departments.
  • Maintain quality, schedule, and budget objectives for assigned work.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital engineering workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with P&ID software tools such as AVEVA Diagram, SP P&ID, AutoCAD, and similar applications for the preparation and maintenance of PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, and related process documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in AVEVA Diagram and BricsCAD.
  • Understanding of engineering data management principles and revision control processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues and coordinate with system administrators to resolve them.
  • Familiarity with project templates, title blocks, standards, and document management workflows.
  • Understanding of data integration between AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Engineering, and AVEVA E3D.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and drafting practices.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Designer within oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects.
  • Experience in preparation and maintenance of process drawings and associated databases.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical trade certification (fagbrev) or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
