Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Payments Subject Matter Expert to lead local payments operations and ensure compliant, smooth payment flows in Norway. You will manage relationships with local payment schemes, regulators, and banks while owning end-to-end processes from initiation to settlement.

You will collaborate with product, IT, and risk teams, monitor performance and risk controls, and help evolve payment capabilities to meet growing customer demand while staying ahead of regulatory updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in local payment schemes.
• Certifications/trainings for operations in the local payment systems.
• In-depth knowledge of local payments relevant legislations.
• Fluency in English.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local payments systems and regulators.
• Oversee end-to-end payment processes including initiation, verification, reconciliation and settlement.
• Monitor and mitigate payment-related risks and fraud.
• Collaborate with IT and internal teams on payment system issues.
• Generate regular reports on payment activities and performance metrics.
