Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Lead Document Controller to join the London team and lead governance, management, and continuous improvement of document control across major data centre projects in the UK and wider EMEA. You will ensure accurate, auditable information and collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, coordinating with engineering, contractors, and consultants, and upholding CTS standards for information governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in document control within construction, engineering, or data centre projects.
• Experience leading document control activities on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle documentation and information management principles.
• Experience with document management systems such as Aconex, ACC, Procore, SharePoint, Asite, or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills; strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead document control activities across multiple data centre projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and standards.
• Act as primary point of contact for document management and information control matters.
• Mentor Document Controllers and project administration teams; support audits and compliance.
