Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Labour Relations professional to lead bargaining across multiple jurisdictions and advise on workforce issues. You will build strong relations with unions and employee representatives, guiding investigations and shaping policies in a global matrix organisation.

Fluency in English and Norwegian, deep knowledge of labour legislation, and experience in organising change initiatives are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Law, Human Resources or related field.
  • Significant Labour Relations and HR experience, including unionised environments.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation, employment standards and health and safety.
  • Proven collective bargaining and union negotiations experience.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and workforce transitions.
  • Excellent communication, consultation and influencing skills.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a global matrix organisation.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian (written and spoken).

Requirements


  • A university degree in Law, Human Resources or other relevant field

  • Significant experience in Labour Relations and Human Resources, including experience within a unionised environment

  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation, employment standards, human rights frameworks, and health and safety requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in collective bargaining and union negotiations

  • Experience supporting organisational change and workforce transition programmes

  • Excellent communication, consultation, and influencing skills

  • The ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience working independently while collaborating effectively within a global matrix organisation

  • Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal
