Job summary

Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo is seeking a Hub Bar Supervisor to lead the shift and ensure daily operations. You will create unforgettable guest experiences with your team and help position Hub Bar on the Oslo map.

You will serve food and drinks, maintain service quality, contribute to menus, train staff, handle cash, place orders, and ensure compliance with the Norwegian Liquor Act. Weekend and weekday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Bar Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong service mindset with guest focus.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to exceed guest expectations.
• Clear communication in Norwegian and/or English.

What will you do?

As a Hub Bar Supervisor, you are the shift leader on duty and must ensure the daily operations of the Hub Bar. You will create unforgettable experiences for the bar's guests together with your team and help put Hub Bar on the Oslo map. Your main tasks include:

• Serving food and drinks to the guests
• Quality assurance of service and product
• Contribute to the development of bar charts and menus
• Training and development of personnel
• Cash settlement
• Product orders
• Comply with the Norwegian Liquor Act

The position involves shift work on weekdays and at weekends.

• You understand what it means to be a good team leader and preferably have previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or similar role.
• You have a clear service gene and see challenges positively, not as problems.
• You are keen to deliver high quality in everything you do and always go the extra mile to exceed the guest's expectations.
• You are good at motivating the team around you and leading everyone towards the same goal.

• The position requires that you can communicate well in Norwegian and/or English.
