Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Oslo Airport seeks an experienced HR leader to provide comprehensive HR services, drive the People Plan, and manage the local HR team to address business challenges. The role supports organisational development, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will partner with COEs across Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward, and Employee Relations to deliver an effective HR service and ensure a compliant, high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the People Plan for the station aligned to the Operational Business Plan and overall company people agenda.
• Manage corporate and local HR initiatives on a broad range of HR subjects.
• Interface with HR COEs of L&D, Resourcing, Reward and Employee Relations in delivering an effective HR service.
• Recommend and direct policy and procedure on HR management reflecting legislation and best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of Employment-based legal cases, representing the Company where appropriate.

Role Purpose

To provide the Menzies team at Oslo Airport with a comprehensive Human Resources service to meet the needs of the business, present and future. To assist in facilitating change, organisational development and the implementation of policies and procedures in line with all legislation and employment regulations. To manage the local HR and Recruitment team and all HR activity required to address station business challenges.

At OSL we currently have a workforce of approximately 700 which is expected to increase to 900 in the coming months.

What you will be doing

• Assisting with leading and facilitating the People Plan for the station ensuring that it is aligned to the Operational Business Plan and overall company people agenda.
• Actively manage corporate and local initiatives and projects on a broad range of HR related subjects.
• Interface with HR COE's of Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward and Employee Relations in the delivery of an effective HR service.
• Recommend and direct the development of policy and procedure on all aspects of HR management and practice that reflects legislation and other regulations, current best practice of HR management.
• Assist in the preparation of Employment based legal cases, representing the Company where appropriate.
