Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking an HR leader for Oslo Airport to deliver a comprehensive HR service for the station, drive the People Plan, and support organisational change. You will manage the local HR and Recruitment team, partner with HR COEs, and ensure compliant HR practices aligned with regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, policy development, and delivering high employee satisfaction while managing multiple HR topics at pace within a global aviation context.

• Develop and direct policy and procedures reflecting legislation and best HR practices.
• Support Employment-based legal case preparation and representation when needed.

Role Purpose

To provide the Menzies team at Oslo Airport with a comprehensive Human Resources service to meet the needs of the business, present and future. To assist in facilitating change, organisational development and the implementation of policies and procedures in line with all legislation and employment regulations. To manage the local HR and Recruitment team and all HR activity required to address station business challenges.

At OSL we currently have a workforce of approximately 700 which is expected to increase to 900 in the coming months.

What you will be doing

• Assisting with leading and facilitating the People Plan for the station ensuring that it is aligned to the Operational Business Plan and overall company people agenda.
• Actively manage corporate and local initiatives and projects on a broad range of HR related subjects.
• Interface with HR COE's of Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward and Employee Relations in the delivery of an effective HR service.
• Recommend and direct the development of policy and procedure on all aspects of HR management and practice that reflects legislation and other regulations, current best practice of HR management.
• Assist in the preparation of Employment based legal cases, representing the Company where appropriate.
