Job summary

Howden Group Holdings is seeking a Head of Processing to lead post-placement processing across Bowood & Programs, aligning premium, claims and bordereau handling with growth and compliance targets.

You will drive standardisation, automation and data-driven improvements, partnering with broking, technical, claims and finance teams to deliver scalable operations and effective governance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in delegated authority, binder, MGA or insurance operations.
• Proven ability to lead processing teams and manage offshore/outsourced services.
• Track record of delivering operational improvements and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all processing activities across Bowood & Programs.
• Ensure accurate, timely processing of premium, claims and bordereau transactions.
• Drive service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs and service standards; monitor workloads and resources.
• Manage operational risks and escalation points in processing.
• Mentor processing managers and technicians; build a high-performing culture.
• Oversee training, knowledge transfer and cross-training initiatives.
• Ensure offshore/onsite workflow integration and governance.
