Job summary

G MASS are seeking an Operations Assistant to join the Syndicate Operations team in London. You will support Underwriters with risk entry, data quality checks and message handling, while building broad exposure to Lloyd's market processes.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of Lloyd's syndicates and processes.
Exposure to London Market platforms (PPL/Whitespace).
High accuracy and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Enter risk and aggregate data into underwriting systems accurately and within agreed timeframes.
Carry out quality checks on risk data, flag discrepancies and escalate where needed.
Handle USM and SCM message processing, chasing failures to meet SLA.
Act as a point of contact for Underwriters and resolve queries quickly.
Work with Team Leaders to monitor SLAs and team targets.
Suggest ideas to improve accuracy and efficiency in existing processes.
Build relationships across Underwriting and wider Operations.
