Job summary

Howden Group Holdings in London is seeking a Programme Manager / Delivery Lead for Specialty Technology to oversee strategic technology programmes and delivery governance. You will lead a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, ensuring delivery is controlled, predictable and compliant.

You will work with CTO, architecture, and Change teams to drive governance, stakeholder satisfaction, and value delivery in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex technology programmes and portfolios.
• Proven ability to manage Project Managers and Scrum Masters.
• Experience in regulated or governance-driven environments.
• Strong communication and engagement with executives and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, governance frameworks and delivery controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of strategic technology programmes and projects across Specialty Technology.
• Provide oversight, challenge and assurance across all project and agile delivery activities.
• Drive delivery predictability, quality, governance compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identify, manage and mitigate programme risks, issues, dependencies and delivery constraints.
• Ensure delivery plans are realistic, integrated and resourced; aligned to business outcomes.
• Define, implement and maintain delivery governance, frameworks and controls.
• Maintain accountability for programme and project financial performance.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, tracking and reporting of project expenditure.
• Oversee capacity planning and resource management across delivery teams.
• Ensure SDLC compliance and continuous improvement of governance processes.
• Coordinate Architecture/Change governance submissions and investment funding.
• Partner with Change teams to ensure adoption of delivered solutions.
