Job summary

Enhanced Drilling, now part of Expro, seeks a Lead Engineer – Control Systems to serve as the global technical authority for control systems within the Technology & Reliability organization. You will govern architectures, standards and lifecycle practices to ensure safe, reliable and auditable operation worldwide.

This senior role combines technical leadership with governance, influencing projects, operations and product development while driving cybersecurity, diagnostics and maintainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, automation, cybernetics or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the global control-system discipline standards and provide technical approval within governance structures.
• Govern requirements for system architecture, hardware, software, interfaces and lifecycle management.
• Review designs for compliance with company requirements, regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical direction during Change Management, risk assessment and engineering assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures for PLCs, SCADA/HMI, instrumentation and networks.
• Define redundancy, failover and recovery principles for critical control functions.
• Lead lifecycle governance, technology refresh planning and asset integrity.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate internal and external engineering activities.
