Job summary

Alva Industries AS is seeking a Commercial Support Specialist to strengthen our Commercial team. You will work with Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Engineering to support customers and scale our business globally. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager.

You will handle day-to-day sales operations, process orders, invoices, and logistics coordination, while maintaining data in ERP/CRM systems and contributing to KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have higher education in business/administration, international business, logistics or related field.
• Experience in backoffice sales, order management, logistics coordination or similar roles is welcome.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day sales operations and customer administration.
• Process customer orders, order confirmations, invoicing, and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate shipments, customs documentation for import/export, and logistics with Operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely support throughout the order lifecycle.
• Prepare quotations and other commercial documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and commercial data in CRM/ERP systems.
• Support reporting and tracking of commercial KPIs and business performance.
• Contribute to development and implementation of commercial procedures and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools and workflows as we scale.
