Job summary

Alva Industries in Trondheim is seeking a Commercial Support Specialist to strengthen our Commercial team. You will enable smooth sales operations, process customer orders, coordinate shipments, and ensure excellent customer experiences as we scale globally.

You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering, maintaining accurate CRM and ERP data, preparing quotations, and supporting KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in backoffice sales or order management
• Experience with logistics coordination or customer-facing admin roles
• Attention to detail and structured approach to work
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Experience with ERP/CRM and MS 365 tools
• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day sales operations and customer administration.
• Process customer orders, order confirmations, invoicing, and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate shipments, customs documentation for import/export, and logistics activities with Operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely support throughout the order lifecycle.
• Prepare quotations and other commercial documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and commercial data in CRM/ERP systems.
• Support reporting and tracking of commercial KPIs and business performance.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of commercial procedures and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows as we scale.
