Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for geotechnical construction in Norway. The role requires hands-on leadership to deliver complex site operations from inception to completion on a 12-month contract.

You'll manage budgets, schedules, HSE, quality, and stakeholder relationships across major infrastructure projects, with English fluency essential and Norwegian language a plus.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Proven geotechnical contracting experience and site delivery skills.
• Experience in budgets, contracts, and commercial risk.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and deliver large-scale geotechnical construction projects.
• Manage project performance including cost, schedule, contract administration, HSE, and quality.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong on-site presence to ensure efficient delivery.
• Support tender preparation, bid submissions, and contract negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities and support growth initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and best practices.
