Job summary

Senior Engineer role in Norway requires leadership across projects, ensuring technical compliance and strong on-site execution. The position is on-site in Norway with opportunities for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities include leading onsite teams, setting out strategies, creating ITPs, managing temporary works, and ensuring safety and quality compliance with rigorous reporting and risk assessment processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of dimensional control and survey equipment.
• Experience in quality assurance within civil engineering works.
• Understanding of underground service risks and safety processes.
• Temporary works control and coordination.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with digital information systems such as A-Site or Viewpoint.

• Create and verify inspection and test plans and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Administer temporary works processes and coordinate lifting operations.

• Handle Non-Conformance reports and ensure corrective actions are executed.
• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and excavation permits.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to support major projects in Norway. • Certification as an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations, including A61 CPCS.
• Scaffold inspection or awareness training.
• Experience using planning and scheduling software.
• Exposure to geotechnical operations, piling and waterproofing practices.
