Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or Geophysics (or equivalent).
• Up to 3 years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Strong interest to learn geological/geophysical work within the energy industry.
• Data analytics mindset with knowledge of data management and visualization; statistics, coding or cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and manage risk and contribute to safety culture.
• Willingness to live in Harstad or Stjørdal.

Responsibilities

• Participate in geological, geophysical, or petrophysical analysis related to fields in production or exploration.
• Engage in geological/geophysical tasks for prospect evaluation, well planning, operations monitoring, and post-well analysis with guidance.
• Perform geophysical tasks such as 3D/4D seismic interpretation, depth conversion, modelling, and uncertainty analysis.
• Contribute to geological tasks in reservoir geology, modeling, interpretation, and maturation under supervision.
