Job summary

Equinor is seeking a junior drilling engineer for the North Development program based in Harstad, Norway. You will contribute to planning drilling operations and subsea activities, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to assess risks and select appropriate equipment.

You will develop skills through international exposure and stretch tasks during your first years, with potential exchanges between northern Norway locations and a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are a plus and willingness to learn.
• Less than three years of full-time relevant work experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan drilling and completion operations, well interventions and subsea activities.
• Collaborate with disciplines, perform method selection and risk assessment.
• Develop and improve new ways of working and analyze data to ensure safe operations.
• Contribute to shaping the future of drilling and well industry.
