Equinor is seeking a Geoscientist for our North Development Program in Harstad or Stjørdal. The role focuses on geological and geophysical analysis, prospect evaluation, and participation in 3D/4D seismic tasks within an early-career development track.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Geology/Geophysics, up to three years of relevant experience, and a strong data-analytical mindset. Willingness to live and work in Northern Norway is essential.

Competenze

Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics or equivalent, completed by Aug 2027.
Max 3 years of relevant full-time work experience.
Interest in learning geological/geophysical processes in the energy industry.
Data analytics mindset with knowledge of data management/visualization, statistics, coding or cloud knowledge.

Mansioni

Perform geological, geophysical or petrophysical analysis for fields in production, early-phase projects or exploration.
Engage in prospect evaluation, well planning, operations monitoring and post-well analysis under guidance.
Carry out geophysical tasks including structural interpretation, 3D/4D seismic interpretation, depth conversion, seismic modelling and uncertainty analysis.
Contribute to geological tasks in reservoir geology, modelling, seismic interpretation and prospect maturation under supervision.
