Job summary

Equinor in Norway offers a growth-focused role in subsea operations as part of the North Development program. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, design, installation and maintenance of subsea systems, with early stretch responsibilities and potential exchanges between northern locations.

Requirements include a Bachelor or Master in subsea technology, automation, cybernetics or mechanical engineering, with up to three years of relevant full-time experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in subsea technology, automation, cybernetics, or mechanical engineering.
• No more than three years of relevant fulltime work experience.
• Knowledge or experience with subsea facilities in operation or project phase is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken communication in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in subsea operations and troubleshooting while learning from a major subsea operator.
• Follow-up technical integrity of subsea systems.
• Provide technical and operational support.
• Perform maintenance, modification activities, and commissioning of new wells.
• Coordinate subsea operations and support discipline delivery teams.
• Follow-up technical plans and lifetime evaluations.
• Contribute to audits, verifications, and safety processes.
• Support safe and efficient operation of new subsea projects.
