Job summary

Equinor is seeking a motivated early-career engineer to join the North Development Program in Norway. You will gain hands-on experience in subsea operations, supporting design, installation, and maintenance of subsea systems, while learning from one of the world’s largest subsea operators.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master degree (by Aug 2027), up to three years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in subsea technology, automation, cybernetics, or mechanical engineering, completed by August 2027.
• No more than three years of relevant fulltime work experience.
• Knowledge or experience with subsea facilities in operation or project phase is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.
• Willingness to live and work from Harstad or Stjørdal.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in subsea operations and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• Follow-up technical integrity of subsea systems.
• Provide technical and operational support.
• Perform maintenance, modifications, commissioning of new wells, and coordinate subsea operations.
• Contribute to discipline delivery teams and lifetime evaluations.
• Support internal and external audits and verifications.
