Levato, a Norwegian defence-technology company building VANTAGE, is seeking a frontend engineer to shape the interface used by military planners and AI researchers. You will join a close-knit team that values clarity, performance, and trust in what is delivered to operations across NATO-aligned partners.

Using React and TypeScript, you will craft fast, data-rich web apps, integrate REST and live data streams, and collaborate with simulation engineers to turn complex models into intuitive tools

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and modern TypeScript.
• Experience building complex, data-rich web applications.
• Solid understanding of REST API consumption and real-time data patterns.

Responsibilities

• The VANTAGE web client — our primary interface for wargame setup, execution, and after-action review.
• Real-time multiplayer visualisation of multi-domain simulation data (land, sea, air, cyber, space, EW).
• AI-assisted COA comparison interfaces — presenting traceable, evidence-backed recommendations to commanders.
• Scenario editor and unit configuration tools used by military instructors and planners worldwide.
• Integration with our REST and MCP APIs to surface live simulation data.
