Job summary

Six Robotics in Oslo develops autonomous UAV software and a swarm platform used by government and industry. We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer who can own and evolve our customer-facing GUI, turning real-time system data into clear, reliable user experiences.

You will collaborate with designers and engineers across teams to deliver features from idea to production, with emphasis on code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Deep, hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and how the frontend fits into a larger system.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and move forward when not everything is fully defined.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• A high bar for quality, with strong attention to detail and maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve our customer-facing GUI, using our core frontend stack consisting of React and Typescript.
• Develop frontend solutions for complex, real-time systems where reliability and performance matter, Turn complex technical and operational information into clear and intuitive user experiences.
• Work closely with designers and engineers across disciplines to take features from idea to production.
• Solve frontend problems with the wider system in mind, building solutions that remain maintainable as the product grows.
• Help raise the quality of our frontend through code reviews, technical discussions, and strong engineering practices.
