Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting, the global consulting arm of Tieto, is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence in Oslo to drive performance, governance, and organizational effectiveness across the practice. The role requires hands-on leadership to enable efficient, predictable operations at scale and to translate strategy into tangible actions across geographies and functions.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, own the operational plan, and ensure critical initiatives are delivered on time

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational excellence in a consulting, technology, or professional services organization.
• Ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
• Strong governance and performance-management background.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational performance through structured follow-up, governance, and execution management.
• Translate strategic priorities into tactical and operational plans with clear ownership and milestones.
• Own and drive the Operational plan process.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered on objectives and timelines.
• Develop and lead market & business intelligence to set priorities and sequencing.
• Lead operational reviews and monitor key performance indicators.
• Drive accountability and corrective actions where needed.
