Jones Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for Heroya, Norway. You will lead mechanical construction activities on high-profile projects, managing on-site operations and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid mechanical background, and a proven track record in complex engineering deliveries. On-site work, safety, and regulatory compliance are central to success.

Competenze

• Mechanical trade or engineering background required.
• Experience with construction materials and welding/jointing methods advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills essential.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office/Excel.

Mansioni

• Oversee mechanical construction activities from planning through commissioning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure execution.
• Monitor progress, site inspections and safety, quality and environment compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders on status and issues.
• Review drawings and specifications, advise on constructability and value engineering.
• Maintain project documentation: progress reports, risk assessments, method statements.
• Support procurement by reviewing submittals and scheduling equipment delivery.
• Lead project meetings and update senior management.
• Ensure commissioning and handover meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
