Job summary

Jones Engineering in Heroya, Norway is seeking a Project Manager (Fire Protection) to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. You will lead project teams, coordinate site operations, and ensure client expectations are met.

You will implement group policies, monitor performance, and maintain strong customer relations through regular site visits and clear reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and budget projects.
• Knowledge of project finance, HR, procurement, and design processes.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
• 5+ years in fire protection design & build or similar mechanical roles.
• Formal qualifications in project/construction management to NFQ Level 8.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects in line with senior management expectations.
• Oversee site operations and project staff.
• Ensure adequate resourcing of contracts with trained operatives and quality suppliers.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and reporting.
• Maintain client relations with site visits and progress updates.
• Support improvement projects and maintain safety, quality, and schedule.
