Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to deliver expert assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex needs and AAC in a London setting.

You will work as an autonomous clinician within the Speech & Language Therapy Service, leading on complex cases, MDT collaboration, and supervision of junior staff where appropriate. This role focuses on specialist clinics and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

  • HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist.
  • Significant experience with dysphagia, complex needs and AAC.
  • Ability to work independently at a highly specialist level.
  • Strong MDT communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience supervising junior clinicians (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.
  • Lead on complex case management and clinical decision-making.
  • Support MDT colleagues across acute, community, and specialist settings.

Job Overview

Pulse is recruiting a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join a dynamic and supportive Speech & Language Therapy service. This role focuses on delivering expert assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC requirements.

You will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist input across a range of clinical presentations and contributing to MDT pathways that support individuals with long‑term, progressive, and complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide highly specialist assessment and intervention for adults with dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC
  • Lead on complex case management and clinical decision‑making
  • Support MDT colleagues across acute, community, and specialist settings
  • Contribute to service development and pathway improvement
