Job summary

Andwell Health Partners is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home services across Norway and surrounding areas. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy, collaborating with families and healthcare teams to meet communication goals.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC (or CFY in progress), and current Maine license, with pediatric experience preferred and CPR certification.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CCC from ASHA (or CFY in progress).
  • Current Maine SLP license.
  • Experience with pediatric or school-age populations preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes.
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, and family instruction.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document progress and reassess regularly.
  • Promote family involvement and education to reinforce therapy.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes, according to standards of practice outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and family/caregiver instruction to support communication goals.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare providers to support each patient's goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document progress, reassess regularly, and update goals to promote meaningful communication outcomes.
  • Promote family involvement and education to reinforce therapy techniques outside of sessions.
What You’ll Bring
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (or CFY in progress)
  • Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
  • Current CPR Certification
