Job summary

Soulcake is seeking a Quality and Product Development Manager to own our quality standards across the business. Based in Oslo, you’ll work with the Kitchen Manager, Production Managers and Area Manager to ensure safety and consistency from recipe to production.

You will define product standards, drive HACCP compliance and develop new products from concept to 10,000 units, deciding when a batch should not go out.

Qualifications

• Professional bakery or food manufacturing experience.
• Experience owning a food safety management system and a HACCP plan.
• Track record of taking a recipe from bench to production volume.
• Experience signing off allergen, labeling and shelf life.

Responsibilities

• Define the standard for every product and how it gets checked.
• Follow safety systems, HACCP plan and related paperwork.
• Develop new products from first recipe through to ten thousand units.
• Decide when a batch, a delivery, or a whole line does not go out.
• Investigate complaints and fix root causes.
• Approve suppliers and the specifications we buy against.
• Review the range and decide what comes off it.
