Job summary

Orion Group seeks an experienced Automated Subsea Pig Launcher (ASPL) Package Lead to take technical leadership of the ASPL package for a major offshore gas development in Oslo, Norway, with a subsequent phase in Baku, Azerbaijan. The role focuses on overseeing engineering, qualification, manufacturing, fabrication, integration, testing, and offshore installation.

The candidate should bring 15+ years of subsea/offshore oil & gas experience, strong SPS background, and solid design leadership

Qualifications

• 15+ years' subsea/offshore oil & gas experience.
• Strong Subsea Production Systems / SPS experience.
• Subsea pigging/pig launcher experience.
• Subsea hardware package delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Take technical leadership of the ASPL package and oversee the contractor through engineering, qualification, manufacturing, fabrication, integration, testing and offshore installation.
• Provide design and package management leadership across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate installation readiness and interface with offshore operations.

Loation: Oslo, Norway – approximately 1 year, followed by Baku, AzerbaijanNorway / Azerbaijan

Client: Oil & Gas Major Operator

We are currently looking for an experienced Automated Subsea Pig Launcher (ASPL) Package Lead to join a major offshore gas development.

The successful candidate will take technical leadership of the ASPL package, overseeing the contractor through engineering, qualification, manufacturing, fabrication, integration, testing and preparation for offshore installation.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• 15+ years' subsea/offshore oil & gas experience
• Strong Subsea Production Systems / SPS experience
• Subsea pigging / pig launcher experience
• Subsea hardware package delivery experience
• Design Leadership / Package Management experience
• Knowledge of subsea structures, pipelines, manifolds and controls
• Installation and ROV operations experience
• Experience taking subsea equipment through engineering, manufacture, testing and offshore installation
