Job summary

APL Norway AS is seeking experienced Engineering Managers to drive the technical execution of offshore projects. You will own engineering scope, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure all deliverables meet high quality standards and schedules.

Lead engineering delivery with a focus on safety, compliance, and collaboration across procurement, construction, and operations. Applicants should bring 5+ years of leadership in oil & gas and be eligible to work in Norway.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant Engineering field.
5+ years of engineering project leadership experience in oil & gas or offshore industry.
Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
Experience with Primavera and engineering software.

Responsibilities

Define and manage the engineering scope and schedule for assigned projects.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Project Management Team to align engineering activities with milestones.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.
Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes.
