Job summary

Zego is seeking a Technical Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team for a 6-month FTC, owning top-of-funnel engineering hiring. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, focusing on sourcing and building pipelines for Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and full-stack roles.

You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers, use AI to enhance outreach, and maintain high-quality candidate experiences from first contact through handovers.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of sourcing experience, with a strong track record in Software Engineering and Data roles.
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment and comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Proficient using LinkedIn Recruiter and Juicebox, actively seeking better ways to use them.
• Curious about how AI can enhance your work, eager to experiment and apply tools that improve productivity.
• You write well, communicate clearly, and know how to spark a conversation with candidates.
• Detail-oriented with thorough notes, clean handovers, and reliable processes.
• Comfort with sourcing metrics and data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

• Proactively sourcing high-quality engineering candidates across multiple channels and whatever else gets results.
• Building and maintaining talent pipelines for Software Engineering and Data functions – focus on Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, and full-stack profiles.
• Being the first point of contact for candidates, running initial calls, capturing findings clearly, and setting a great experience from the first message.
• Partnering with the recruiting team and hiring managers to understand what good looks like for each role.
• Working smarter with AI – improving outreach, spotting patterns in pipeline data, and finding efficiencies.
• Tracking and reporting on sourcing metrics to keep the team sharp and informed.
