Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist in Glomfjord, Norway, to manage procurement, transport, and delivery of data centre hardware. You will coordinate PO processing, shipments, and customs compliance, working with suppliers and site teams to keep builds on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in purchasing/logistics, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong ERP/Excel skills to ensure accurate inventory and documentation across multi-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 2–4 years of purchasing, procurement, or logistics experience.
• Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle and good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Process requisitions, create POs, and track acknowledgments.
• Shipment & Freight Tracking: Coordinate international and domestic shipments and customs clearance.
• Vendor & Logistics Liaison: Communicate with suppliers, forwarders, and site managers to resolve delays.
• Inventory & Asset Tracking: Maintain records of materials, inventory, and serial numbers in ERP.
• Documentation & Compliance: Review shipping docs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Invoice Verification: Perform three‑way matching to ensure billing accuracy.
